18 Reasons Why I Love Being a Chiropractor

I was introduced to chiropractic care years ago when I played high school baseball. At the time, I thought it was just for athletes who wanted to be better on the field, and it did help when it came to avoiding injuries, improving function and mobility, and shortening recovery time. But as I got older, I realized chiropractic was so much more than that. Everyday people — from expectant mothers to small kids, athletes, parents, and even older individuals — were visiting my chiropractor and experiencing radical improvements from a variety of health challenges that had plagued them for years.

Just reading those testimonials sent shivers up my spine and inspired me to follow in my chiropractor’s footsteps.

Fast forward to today, and I still love being a chiropractor. I own my own practice right here in Lewisville, TX, and it is an absolute joy to see folks who begin care with us start to understand the bigger picture and experience lasting and long-overdue relief.

I really do love everything about my career. Below are 18 reasons why I love being a chiropractor:

1.    Every day is a chance to help someone.

2.    I get to share and display God’s heart of love and compassion for people.

3.    I get to see real transformations happen.

4.    I get to focus on the root cause of people’s health challenges.

5.    I get to know some amazing people.

6.    Chiropractic helps prevent problems before they happen.

7.    I play a role in helping people reduce their dependency on medications.

8.    Our practice members have a chance to avoid unnecessary surgery.

9.    Our practice members gain confidence in trying things they’ve been unable to do for a long time.

10.  Helping kiddos grow up into healthy adults.

11.  Helping pregnant moms have shorter labor times and less pain.

12.  That moment when a practice member experiences a radical breakthrough.

13.  Educating members and giving them tools to help them down the road.

14.  I am constantly learning something new.

15.  I get to build genuine relationships (make people feel welcome, loved, and like family).

16.  I get to make people laugh.

17.  There’s never a dull moment.

18.  I get to experience the journey of becoming an even better chiropractor.
